Thanks a lot for all the responses!

Yes, somehow I have a poor math, and till now still could not figure out how to expand the formula as shown in "SD.JPG" to something like what Teradata has shown in STDDEV_POP.

What Mansfield and Dieter said was correct. At least I am able to prove that the computation of STDDEV_POP on the data samples which I presented, is correct.
