We have requested that one of our OLAP tool vendors modify their tool to use derived tables. The tool vendor is telling my client that derived tables are obsolete in V2R5. I know derived tables have changed under V2R5, but are hey obsolete or do I still request the change? Any guidance/suggestion would be appreciated.
