Teradata V2R5.0 from the TW 7.0 Demo CD works OK with Windows XP Home. If you have a non-English Windows system, then get a fix from the FAQ page item 9 at www.teradata.com/demo/ . If this doesn't fix your problem, then restart Windows and Teradata, and then look for Teradata error messages in the Windows Event log.
