In a old time (spring 1988) Teradata Review magasine Vol. 1 No. 1 have a very good article article to explain the difference between the ON
clause and the WHERE clause. I look on the web to find this article (A lesson in Outer Joins - learn the hard way) but I could not find it. May be
somebody have a electronic copy of this article, it's a very interesting article for beginner.
