I would ask tsome differnet questions, like:

Has anyone experimented with Hard or Soft RI and would be able to share experiences, such as:

Was performance improved or degraded?

Did you come up with a method of extracting the RI in a fashion that would make it possible to rebuild a database (or make a copy) with RI functional?
