Hello all,

Is there a function in Teradata that will work the same as the REPLACE function in Oracle?

replace (string1, string_to_replace, [replacement_string] )

I need to create a function that will return a string.

Using an output parameter ( in a stored procedure) will not do as this string is returned as a parameter in another function call.

Any suggestions?
