I'm with Mr. Judge. Stats are global. We record no distribution info in stats.
On the other hand, if you collect stats on the primary index of a table, the data demographics which could cause a skewed table could be seen.
And if you were working with an explain and could tell that a spool file was being distributed on a particular column and you had collected stats
on the column, you might be able to tell if you were going to get uneven distribution.
