What type of GB per hour throughput are you seeing with your current Teradata backup solution and what is that solution ?
How are you backing up tables that are 800 gb+ in size ?
We are facing some challenges in this area. We do not use cluster backups because our DR Hotsite is not the same cluster config as the current
home box. We are looking for creative solutions.
We use mainframe arcmain to 3590 magstar tapedrives. we get 14-17 gb per hour per drive right now. We do full database backups once a
week.
