Subj:   Re: Scheduling SQL jobs on my PC

From:   Akshay.Munshi

Basically, I want the ability to connect, execute my SELECT SQL's and export the results to a text file. Mike Dempsey suggested that I can do this in Queryman 6.1 command line options. I only have Queryman 6.0 and 6.0 does all of it in command line mode except for export to a text file. I have been using the export feature all the time, but being able to do it using command line options is my challenge.

Mike suggested -e option. I tried and it does not work under 6.0. Here's the exact syntax of what I am doing at DOS prompt:

QUERYMAN.EXE -c ndw -f c:\test1.sql -e c:\test1.txt

Queryman.exe is in the path.

ndw is my DSN name

c:\test1.sql has only "select current_date as todaysdate"
c:\test1.txt is where I want the results to be exported.

Thanks,

Akshay.
