Hi Carmelo,

You're correct, it is a setting on your client. Oe of the parameters in cliv2 determines the maximum size of row that Teradata can send back to the client. In your case it looks like it's not large enough.

If you can change the code, you need to set the Response_Buffer_Length value to a bigger number. Also look at what you've got set for Maximum_Parcel, you probably need a value of 'H'.

If you can't change the code, you need to modify file clispb.dat. This is normally in the directory where you installed the cliv2 software. The parameters that you need to change are: resp_buf_len - give it a bigger value, maximum_parcel = H.
