If you're a perl hacker you can try DBD::Chart, DBIx::Chart, or GD::Graph. All are very good [free] tools that will run on any platform running Perl 5.6.0 or greater. We have extensive, dynamic, web based scorecards, and the like, built on these. And it was painless.
