I checked that. It is a rather simple system. Just one node. I configured the plugin and selected the same machine as the Master. I also went to client management and checked the system access which passes. I was also able to grant restore priveledges on the target DB that we had created so it appears like everything is working. I bet that this is something real simple but yet it eludes me...

In the restore gui target tab you must select the teradata client that is defined as the master teradata plugin. There should be only one teradata plugin defined as the master plugin. This node is also referred to as the browsing node.
