Folks,

This turned out to be a bug in V2R5. Spool is currently coming from the owner of the stored procedure rather than the user executing the stored procedure.

A DR has been opened.

I have a user X who is creator and owner of a stored procedure COLL_STATS which collects stats on tables. EXECUTE privileges on the stored procedure is granted to user Y. If user Y executes the stored procedure, I notice the current spool/ peak spool for user X go up/change while the current spool for user Y is zero. Is this normal? I was under the impression spool always comes from the user who executes the queries. I did lookup documentation on CREATE PROCEDURE, but did not read anything to this effect.
