The Teradata Manager 6.0 alert system will not abort idle sessions that are part of a multi-session logon - eg. Utilities, or multi-session batch jobs.

If you are using the 'Abort Idle Sessions' feature of Session Information however (or if you are using Teradata Manager 5.x) the utility control sessions may be aborted.
