Hi,

When using multiple sessions, with the following situation :

BTEQ IMPORT/INSERT
AMPs in the sytem are 8
Sessions 6

2 sequential records in the file have primary index values hashing to same AMP (but different Row Hash)

In this case, will teradata effectively use the multiple sessions ?. ie, Will the 2 rows inserts happen parallely..? Or will the second insert wait for the first row insert completion. ?

How many transactions / tasks can an AMP execute parallely in v25 ?

Please clarify.
