In V2R4, the only way to get rid of resource partitions is to delete the system.gdo file on all nodes, then restart Teradata. You
very likely do *NOT* want to do this. However, Mr. Stanek is correct -- If you simply don't use that resource partition, it will not
be considered when calculating relative weights. Carrie's Priority Scheduler Orange Book suggests renaming unused resource
partitions to make it obvious that the RP is not being used (e.g. RP4_Unused).

Yes. V2R5.1 now provides the ability to delete resource partitions etc. without having to destroy the system.gdo file. I have
personally used this new feature and can confirm that it works.
