I've been told that one example of an internal session is a "rollback" of an aborted DML query such as when you lose the original
session or abort it while the system is still in rollback mode. In this case, you can do nothing to remove the session, not even a
system re-boot, as the rollback will continue after the TPA Reset occurs. You can usually tell if 'rollback' is occurring by using
the Recovery Manager utility from the System Console in Teradata Manager...
