I would love to see an EXCLUDE option for tables for RESTORE or COPY commands -- currently you can only exclude a database. I
refresh our DEVELOPMENT evironment periodically -- but we have less space on DEV.
To utilize the production cluster backups -- I restore the entire database but go to a little extra effort to cause some non
essential tables to be restructured so that the restore will "skip" the tables -- I don't need the data and can't waste the space. I
do not want to make a separate archive just for this particular restore or list tables individually -- just want to use our regular
production archive but exclude certain tables when I restore to DEV. Any thoughts as to whether the "EXCLUDE tables" for a
restore or copy is being considered for the future?
