After receiving complaint of slow response, I found that queries with a single value against a NUSI were not using the index when querying using the view, but did use the index when querying directly against the table. Statistics did exist. The view used a Select * to the table, but this is similar to most of our views and I don't believe a factor. The complaints also started a couple days after the table/index/view creation, so I don't know it some event caused the problem, or if it existed when the view was created.

Has anyone else experienced this anomaly? We are on V2R3.
