Hi,

After some off line discussion I understand the problem now but I don't have an Answer.

The TDSES and TDMST services were changed to use some other port like 5725

Ambeo installs its startup script before teradata's startup script to attempt to capture port 1025 before teradata ( or anyone else does ) does.

On this one node some process has captured port 1025 preventing Ambeo from capturing this port.

Are there any tools in the MPRAS/UNIX world to allow someone to figure out which process is sitting on a Port? Netstat will tell you what ports are open but no necessarily who has it open.
