We are developing a new Teradata Warehouse. We are looking into implementing many triggers. I have two questions.

we are on v2r5.

1) I tried to build a join index on a table that had a trigger and was unsuccessful. when /will this be implemented?

2) is there a way to communicate to the operating system to invoke an external program.
