Hello,

Could anyone give me some assitance for my questions i have.

1)I want to know what are the port numbers we connect.

a) Using PM/PC

b) Using SQL

2) When i see the Disk USe% using PMON , it always show 0 percentage only, though i am doing Fastload, and deleting and loading some tables continuosly in BTEQ schdule job..

How i will get the right value, or is there any value i need to look at..

3) In some cases when i shrink my user i see the peakspace is more than maxspace... Is there any way i can get rid of maxpeak space...

eg:

i have a user: Testuser1 :
his maxspoolspace is: 200MB
i ran one query it took 190MB spool space.

Later i shrink Testuser1 spool space to 100MB. When i query a Diskspace table it shows

Peakspoolspace : 190MB
Maxspoolspace: 100MB

In any scenario Peakspoolspace should be less than Maxspoolspace. How i have to correct this?
