I heard at the regional TUG conference presentation by Todd Walters that the QUERY logger facility in V2R5 IS low overhead and not anything like the old ACCESS logging facility of V2R4 and earlier. It is important to make a distinction between the old access logging and the new query logging processes. Access logging has always predicated a performance hit, whereas the new query logging of v2r5 is not suppose to impact performance, or only a very small barely negligible amount.
