Hi,

Not too sure whether this question should be asked at this forum but just hoping someone knows about it.

Is it possible for us to have Netbackup admin server on a Windows machine and the client to be a Unix server.

a) Is it possible/ok to take backups via that kind of a setup for OS files? i.e., take backups of Unix OS files from Win2k box via Netbackup installed on Windows.

b) Is it possible/ok to take backups of Teradata database on Unix server? ie., take backups of Teradata database on Unix from Win2k via Netbackup.

Any help/info is appreciated.
