We are trying to install Teradata V2R5 (NOT the demo version) onto a Compaq Proliant Server with both an internal Compaq Disk Array and an external Compaq Disk Array. Running W2K with Service Patch 3. We will be using this for regression testing to assest the impact of our upgrading from V2R4 to V2R5. Performance is not within scope of this effort.

We are running the PUT utility to install V2R5. It seems when PUT gets to the point of disk allocation, it reboots the server. Has anyone installed Teradata V2R5 on any non-NCR hardware with an external disk array?.

Any assistance apprecated.
