Well I do not know it this helps, but we were running into the same Problem by using this ODBC for Cognos, suddenly all the decimals disappeared and it seemed as we only have integers. We solved it for the moment by casting to float, now the decimals are okay, but that is not a solution for long term.

For the long term we are waiting for the new ODBC which should be Cognos approved.
