Single Sign On is a authentication mechanism provided to enhancement security and ease the logon procedure at the same time. It is
only RDBMS you don't need to supply the logon credentials like user-id and password. This functionality is provided on a mutual
consent between the Teradata Server and the client. Only when the server accepts Single Sign On login can a client attempt it.
Whereas even when the server accepts Single Sign On logins the client can choose not to use this functionality. You will have to set
the corresponding client options to perform a Single Sign On login. Refer to the Teradata client manuals for more information on
this topic.
