We are using a product called TeraFile to resolve the 2GB file size limit problem. TeraFile was initially developed by PLC Inc. which are subsequently bought by CrossStor, which was then bought by EMC. So, its no longer developed.

We have an old copy that we had procured 3 years back and it works wonderfully with NCR MP-RAS UNIX. Unfortunately, it is no longer supported.

All the Teradata and standard UNIX utilities have worked very well with TeraFile so far.
