Subj:   Capturing Data Leaving Teradata Machine

From:   Anomy Anom

Has anyone ever had the pleasure of capturing the data leaving the Teradata machine before it hits the network? If so, how would I do it?

I have an application that claims that Teradata sporadically corrupts the data as it sends it out. The application server put a snoop on the interface that displays the data as its received off the TCP stack, and the data is occasionally corrupt. Since it's a TCP packet, we know the packet is correct. So the application claims that the corruption must have come from the sender side [Teradata]. The applications uses macros.

Are there any known issues about possible data corruption? I am running on a 4855.

Thanks.
