Hi,

A session is a connection to a PE for SQL applications (the sessions actually logs on to the DBC/SQL 'partition').

Utilities like Fastload, Multiload, Arc issue AMP-directed requests, these are issued to sessions which are logged on to specific AMPs. These sessions logon to other 'partitions' (FASTLOAD, MLOAD etc).

The SESSIONS parameter in Fastload (and I think the other utilities) does NOT include the 'sql' sessions.
