Dennis,
the error you're talking about may be 'No more spool space on ' and not 'Out of spool space on disk'.
The difference is that in the first case a request has exceeded logical spool limits on one AMP, imposed by SPOOL space allocation
on user; in the second one, the request has exceeded physical storage limits, without exceeding logical limits.
