Is there any rule of Thumb I need to follow while specifying the no: of sessions in ARC Job , more sessions makes the ARCHIVE to run fast?

We have the following configuration

40 AMPs
Four 5250 Nodes
Approx Capacity 335GB per node(1345 GB)

Your help would be highly appreciated
