For those running MP/RAS nodes, I was wondering if anyone had gotten a definitive answer from NCR regarding if the version of
sendmail in their distribution was vulnerable to the exploit recently published?. We have had this question posed for a couple of
weeks now and no response one way or the other has been received. It is my understanding that an internal DR has been opened on the
issue but we find it unusual that we can get no sense of what is going on in regards to this item. As a result our NCR environments
are becoming a very visible red area as we have gotten feedback from every other vendor where this item was an issue. With security
guys, you are guilty until you can prove you are innocent so not having any statements one way or the other is an issue......
