Raj,

As well as using a Value Ordered NUSI this seems like a good candidate for a Partitioned Primary Index. (Assuming your on V2R5)

I guess the query would have to be within a single partition range or it would be ineffective. We're still learning V2R5 so I can't say for sure which the optimizer would choose - PPI or Value Ordered Secondary... I can experiment with it tomorrow.

Anybody experiment with this yet? Clay?
