MERGE into == INSERT SELECT. It represents the process of merging (more) rows into a table or spool.

MERGE DELETE == joined delete. Uses a list of rows to delete in another table/spool to determione which rows to delete from the target table. all-AMPs Update == Update Where. With a condition which requires all amps to participate in the update operation.
