Hi Ramesh:

If we knew what you were attempting to accomplish once you found the character or characters, it would help provide a better answer to your question. For instance, are you attempting to use it in a WHERE, a CASE, a Stored Procedure - we have no idea from your brief question.

So, if you can elaborate a little bit and provide what it is you are looking for in the characters and what you need to do once you find it, we can ponder your question.
