We have noticed some problems when doing cross system queries. Specifically cross system joins are painful. When joining two
tables from two different systems, each row from the first table generates a query to the second system. The resulting activity can
be huge. Within a few hours the process generates 100,000's of queries. Seldom do users understand, so consider disallowing cross
platform joins and requiring that users load their data and then only perform system local joins.
