I think Geoffrey's comment was non-responsive and a tad argumentative. It did not address the concern but rather ignored it. I
don't have the answer but if I did, I wouldn't give such a cavalier response. I think that good manners is a necessity in this
business. These responses do not demonstrate this. Imagine how you would feel if someone made fun of your question. Maybe you did
not intend this but I interpreted the response this way. And if I did, I think the person who submitted the question felt this way
too.
I like to follow this motto in responding:
If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything. And by all means, don't be snippy.
