Subj:   Re: Java connect problem

From:   Tom Nelson

My url is" jdbc:odbc:teradata" and teradata is defined as a data source, and has a data source specification. I found the ODBC User guide from Teradata and went through that setting the LD_LIBRARY_PATH env variable, double-checked the .odbc.ini file, set an ODBCINI env var pointing to my local dir, just in case. Nothing seems to help it find the driver. Is there anything in the setup of the driver that could be missing? All the files (tdata.so, the trace dll, samples, etc.) seem to be in the correct directories and sub-dirs (except that they are under /opt instead of /usr, per the examples in the doc).??
