Thanks for the suggestions. I tried all the combinations and infact we have the perl scripts running and doing the formatting job. The reason I am doing is to eliminate the intermediate format process to gain extra time.

We do have some fields in which we will get either a comma or a ". So neither of them worked for the delimiter purpose and the perl script changes the same to a pipe delimited file.

If there are any alternative ideas please let me know
