Please note that the top example uses '/' and your (non working) exmaple uses '\'. Perl prefers that you use '/', because it uses the '\' as an escape character. If you really want to use '\', or have to because of DOS programs, then use double slashes, eg.

"C:\\Teradata\\Scripts\\YourMLoad.txt".
