I don't know of any ODBC apps where it can be forced. You can do it with any CLI-based apps beause there is a logon exit available with CLI. No such exit is available (as far as I know) for odbc apps.

The only other way that I can think of is giving your users different userid's for each app. And that brings in a whole heap of other issues, so we won't go down that route !

Sorry, I don't know of any other way which may give you what you want.
