In theory, I don't think you should have to reduce the pack factor as TPump will reduce it for you if you set it too high anyway.
Your pack request is just that, a request, which it may choose to reduce if it can't honor it. I believe something else is going on
there. However, you could try using packmaximum once to see what it recommends, then change your control script accordingly to see
if it helps.
