The tracking of grants, etc. is what AccessLogging was all about in the first place. It's a security tracking system. You can turn different things on and off, and if you really strip it down to what it was designed for it's not the resource hog that it became because we abused it.

I've heard that Usage Tracker is pretty inexpensive these days, and it'd probably be worth it just to save developing the reports.
