One thing I have heard is that Query Log only samples the data and does not log every single DBMS request - grants, show, help, etc, are excluded, for example . Does Query Log work like the PMON feature for viewing SQL where the query must have AMP steps (Active/Dispatching)? It would be great if Query Log could trap the detail that AccessLogging does - and store the parsed query information. Can someone confirm any of this?
