I am currently doing some investigation into open systems BAR solutions with Teradata. Has anyone been able to talk NCR into using any other open systems tape library with Teradata other than StorageTek? From the NetVault library compatibility chart it looks like a ton of different library vendors are certified with NetVault and MP-RAS, but my account team keeps telling me that any non-StorageTek solution is "not certified". It is obvious that most of these silos will work just fine but has anyone adopted one?
