Excerpts from definition of Entry Code in FastExport 7.6.1 manual:

4 Checkpoint Entry -- Specifies a checkpoint call that the FastExport utility makes after processing the last response row for each SELECT statement.

5 Teradata RDBMS Restart Entry ...
If the RDBMS restarts before the first checkpoint, entry code 2 is sent for cleanup, and the entry code 1 is sent to re-initialize the job.

6 Client Restart Entry ...
If the client system restarts before the first checkpoint, entry code 1 is sent to re-initialize the job.
