I have not seen a "week function" and guess this may be because the start day (Monday or Sunday or ..) and the start date would vary for many, depending on the purpose e.g. calendar, fiscal, employment etc.

Previously I have tried two solutions:

- create a table of dates and week numbers

- subtracted the first date e.g. 0101yyyy, from the selected date, divided the days by 7 and added 1

If you find a better solution, do share it.
