I'm writing a shell script for a process on my AP-node. I am trying to use a typeset command like the following:

typeset -l abc

This returns the following error:

UX:sh (test): ERROR: typeset: not found

Strangely enough, I can execute the same command interactively (rather than in a shell script) and it works just fine. I do not understand why this is. Can anyone help?

By the way, I am using the Korn shell.
