Does Teradata Support the concept of a "Trusted Connection". i.e. allow all users if the connection is comming from a known IP
address?. (Someone mentioned that this is available on the mainframe ESCON channel connection) This would meet the need by Mike and
would also make it easier to maintain userid and passwords. Currently with userid and password passthru. If the password is changed
at the mid-tier (BusinessObjects, etc.) there is no way to automatically change the password on Teradata.
